More Earnings

Good morning. Futures are showing weakness in premarket trading as the markets digest another large batch of earnings reports, see weakness in overseas trading and gains in the U.S. dollar.

Top headlines include signs that business spending is perking back up, a decrease in mortgage applications, concerns over homebuyer credit fraud, a call by the Bank Of England to break up large banks as Volcker fails to sell his bank strategy here, corporate tax breaks get scrutiny, State Street Bank has been accused of fraud and dark pools face SEC restraints.
