Noise-Canceling Headphones

Headphones
After the Hugo tornado and hail storm during Memorial Day weekend, my neighborhood has turned into one giant construction zone this summer. So far we've already had our roof replaced but the entire outside layer of our home is next. If you've had to replace either at your home, you already know how noisy and distracting the whole process can be especially if you work at home during the day.

Upon a friend's suggestion, I recently purchased a pair of noise-canceling headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint) and they've been life savers. In fact, I suspect that I'll use these even when the construction is over when I need quiet time to think and trade and/or when I travel. So, if you trade in a noisy environment, I give these very high marks.
