Bull Market Mentality

With Monday morning M&A activity ahead, why would anyone not be long going into the weekend?

I say that in jest, but it really seems that way. Takeover chatter is on everyone's lips and everything looks like a buy and the buyers keep coming. Even with the "Fed is not done" realization, it didn't seem to faze the bull market mentality one little bit.
