On Hold

The market was on hold ahead of tomorrow's FOMC meeting. That's really all you need to know.

As I shared with members this evening, I put a little money to work today. Energy and gold seem to be the go-to sectors at the moment, which really isn't very inspiring unless of course you're loaded up on both. In my view, no matter what the Fed does tomorrow, the one good thing is that at least the FOMC will be in the rear view mirror. After that, we'll have retail sales numbers to focus on and, of course, the elections in Iraq.
