CANSLIM Stock Screen

When market action is clear as mud, I turn off the noise and spend my time running stock screens. This afternoon I ran the ever popular CANSLIM screen, based loosely on William J. O’Neil’s CANSLIM stock selection strategy. The goal of the screen of course is to identify potential ten-baggers, or stocks with the potential to soar at least ten times in value.

So, in running my own screen based loosely on his well-known formula, I did find seven potential candidates for additional research which are all well off the beaten path. They include: Atlantis Plastics (AGH), Amrep Corp. (AXR), Barnwell Industries (BRN), BP Prudhoe Bay (BPT), Community Bancorp (CMBC), Cross Timbers (CRT), & Nobility Homes (NOBH). Take a look:
