Ameritrade Online Investor Index
As many of you know from watching my trading portfolio, I like to focus on stocks well off the beaten path. My general rule is that if a lot of individual investors know about it, I'm less likely to trade it.
That is one of the reasons why I routinely check Ameritrade's Online Investor Index. This index allows you to see which stocks are being bought and sold by small retail investors, otherwise known on Wall Street as the dumb money. As of today, here are the top buys and sells:
