Top 12 Most Helpful Stock Screeners
Earlier this week I asked readers to tell me the names of their favorite stock screeners. I received about a little under 300 replies - thank you for sending in your favorites. Here are the names of the top 12 stock screeners many of you found most helpful:
- Tradestation
- MSN Money Stock Screens
- ValuEngine
- MarketWatch Stock Screener
- MarketScreen
- Yahoo Finance Screens
- StockFetcher
- Ameritrade Advanced Analyzer
- TC2000
- StockWorm
- MetaStock
- Wall Street City
Please note: I haven't tested all of these stock screeners so your success may vary. That being said, I have personally found Tradestation, TC2000, and Metastock quite useful at times. That is not to say that any of these offer perfect tool for beating the market without doing more research and analysis. Stock screeners of any type provide only the first step for additional research.
