Gold at $1,000 Per Ounce?

What if someone told you that gold could reach more than $1,000 per ounce in five years? You'd probably lump them into the same group of market gurus who claim that the Dow will hit 25K in the same time frame. But as an investor, it makes sense to contemplate all potential possibilities.
