Don't Bet The Farm
I never bet the farm unless I know for sure that the odds are 99% in my favor. Unfortunately, more than a few investors are doing exactly that by taking out new mortgages, have refinanced, or obtained line-of-credits secured by their homes for the specific purpose of investing in stock market securities. It has gotten so out of control that the NASD has been forced to issue a red alert about this very issue. READ
